森 蘭丸

A boy born with the name 森長定 Mori Nagasada, he was the young page of Nobunaga's who became the Lord of Iwamura. He had 3 brothers and was the son of 森可成 Mori Yoshinari. Ranmaru was famous for dying along with Nobunaga and his own brother at the Honnouji incident. By that time, he was still a teenager.

Ranmaru was introduced to Nobunaga by his father Yoshinari when he recently became a retainer of the Oda Clan. Nobunaga instantly liked the boy and made him his page. At Oumi, he was given 500 koku and after the death of Takeda Katsuyori, he was given Iwamura Castle and 50,000 koku. Soon after that though, he would die along with Nobunaga. When Nobunaga was enroute to the Chugoku region, he stayed at Honnouji. During their stay, Mitsuhide attacked and set aflame to Honnouji, where it is said that Nobunaga, Ranmaru, and his younger brothers commited Seppuku.
